Atheists and Christians, what do you think of this quote?

Following that quote causes disaster. As you say, people who deliberately blind themselves bump into many things and are bumped into by many things. There is a legend that an ostrich buries its head in sand when danger is near. If that was true, it would only make things worse. A lion would love for an ostrich to do that, rather than fighting or running. Religion only makes priests rich. It does not really help anyone else. Belief that any deity is going to help a person can harm him greatly, as in the case of the ostrich and the lion. Some fanatics pray for sick children, rather than taking them to doctors. It is criminal negligence when children suffer and die from such folly.
