Why does my car suddenly stall out for no reason?

sounds like there is a problem electrically that is causing the computer to shut the fuel and fire down to your car im not to good with fords but my dodge was doing it and i traced it down to the auto shutdown relay it gave me hell for a long time but it costed 60 bucks to fix it but yours sounds similar to that so i would check it out with a real mechanic because i think it is an electrical short or problem or it could be that relay if it has one
