um well i guess it matters what age you are...im 15 and a little over 5'8 and i'm as tall as my friends or just a little taller idk.

What is my status as a green card holder?

My family emigrated to the States from HK as green card holders in 1999 when I was 19 and I returned to HK after just two months via Canada (and that was before 9/11 and so my exit from the States was not recorded) to finish my degree. I have never returned to the States after that. What is my status as green card holder? Is there any chance I could study or work in the States again and how am I supposed to do that? Will I become subject to any criminal liability? I was a teenager back then and did not really question the propriety of the arrangement mentioned above, which was something my dad came up with.

Problem with internet connection in Ubuntu 10.10..?

I tried connecting my BSNL nic card(Linktop U100 USB modem) in ubuntu 10.10 by the usual procedure,i.e choosing the mobile broadband connection,setting bsnl as provider,then setting username and pword. The problem is after showing 'preparing to connect',sometime later it shows "you are offline,network is disconnected". I have a dual-boot system(windows7-ubuntu 10.10). I have successfully installed nic in windows 7 and use it.Please help me friends...

What is the story with this sore throat?

sounds like allergies. Benedryl or clariten always worked for me. The soreness comes from constant mucous going down the back of the throat, causing irritation. The reason it seems better at times is because allergens are not always present.

Definitely not. You should know by ow that she meant no offense. She most likely wouldn't have said it if she even thought you'd take offense.

okay, I am very confused by this story. But from what I can understand and in my opinion she is being reasonable when she says she is disappointed, because you are basically her mom and she wanted you to be there. However, I don't think she should be mad or anything like that because of everything you have given her in her life, and everything you have helped her with. She should appreciate it.

Somehow the music files on your iPod are corrupted. I'd suggest running your disk utility program which is in your utilities folder. Have it repair the permissions and the disk in your iPod.
