Is it a bad idea if me and my boyfriend move in with my bestfriend and her boyfriend?

we cant afford rent in our duplex anymore, so were moving into a smaller, apartment with my best friend and her boyfriend. i was wondering is it a bad idea? will we feel cramped? and less privacy? or could it be fun?
