What do you think of a person who doesn't limit himselves to one religion?

I know someone who takes from all of them the simularities. Take out the uniqueness which he calls ego. lives without bias to any of them. and doesn't press his beliefs on anyone. Do you think his life will prosper. Or do you think he is going to hell?
