Help my dog is danger!?

today when i was brushing my little 4 month old maltese i saw something around her face aand thought that it was a piece of wood but when i realized it wasnt coming off i asked for a second opinion and found out it was a wood tick molly, my dog already had her monthly dose of frontline so i asumed the tick was dead and took it off with tweezers but i still think the head is in there she has a vet apoinment next week but will the head do an damage to her
