A question for atheists?

Yes, Christians were tortured and killed for their beliefs and that was terrible. Then they turned around, killed and tortured Pagans for their beliefs. Was that OK? Then, what's more, Christians have killed and tortured other Christians for not beleiving exactly the same way they did. Christians kill other Christians and everyone not a chirstian throughout history, for a couple thousand years now.
