My friend is being abused by her parents, help?

When she told her mom how happy she was on her first day in school (as a Senior), her mom allegedly shouted at her for no reason. She says her parents always takes their anger out on her. It has been like that for a long time. She has a problematic life, and most of the time, she's quite miserable in cl too. People treat her differently and her clmates report her even if she does nothing wrong at all. Her parents blame her for having more financial problems than before. She's lucky though that she just have to wait for a year until college, until she's free. But the problem is, there are still ten months of torment. Any tips and ideas? No reporting to police for abuse. Her parents are the only people who can take care of her now even when they make her miserable.
